Neighbourhood Guides
Taking the drive around North Bridge Lake road you will pass not just Bridge Lake, but also Lesser Fish Lake, and you will also pass roads leading off to other lakes, some remote and hard to access. The road winds between farms and lakeside cottages. You will pass by the Catholic Church and many scenic views on your trip. The lake itself, Bridge Lake, is known for year round fishing and is stocked with Kokanee and Rainbow Trout. Stop by the Bridge Lake Store to see pictures of the biggest local catches, hung on the wall.
During the summer months there are plenty of trails to explore, leading off into the crown land for miles and miles of back country fishing and quadding. Or head out onto the lake to check out all the islands, see the fish spawning or see the baby birds. Watch loon babies learn to dive or mallard babies learn to bob, and if you are really lucky you might spot an otter or a beaver. For a nights entertainment you can check out Music at the Lakes, a free series of varied local and non local musicians happening all summer at the Interlakes corner. While you are there grab an ice cream at The Country Pedlar, or a meal at either of the great restaurants. There is also a general store and a hardware store for your convenience.
Looking for more entertainment? Check out the Interlakes Community Hall. This is where you will find plenty of activities and groups to keep you either in shape, or in good health, or learning to cook, etc.
