Let's have a chat about biases. It was a long time since I became a realtor before I realized that my own opinions and biases will affect how I price a property, right? If it's got gorgeous old growth fir on it, I'm going to think it's worth more than something that doesn't 'cause I'm biased that way. Now, it's common for me to see my sellers not be able to see past their own biases. If you love your house and filled it with many great memories, then you obviously think it should be worth more than your neighbor's house that has all the same features. So, remember, when you're thinking about prices, to check your own biases and sort of compare them, you know, with what else is out there, take the biases out of it a little bit, and that'll give you probably a better idea of what it should be priced at.
