Things you need to know about      South Cariboo

if you're wondering what life in the South Cariboo is really like, I've got some details for you.

So, first off, we get a lot of lovely blue skies, and sunshiny days, all through the winter. Right now it's currently spring, but we still have some snow packed. I'm at a bit of a higher elevation. In town, it's not that bad anymore. I'm also out on the east end of things, and you can see, it's lovely where I am. So the east side, like Lac des Roches and Canim Lake, is more mountainous, when you get towards 100 Mile House, Lac la Hache up to Williams Lake, there are a lot of rolling hills there. We have lots of lakes. Lots of lakes. We have almost no rivers, and a couple of creeks.

We don't get sledding like lower levels, 'cause there's not really any mountains above us. The community's a little older, which just means that there's always people around who are ready to play, and there's lots going on. So, if you're looking for the sort of place where you're going to know all of your neighbors, you're going to be able to buy eggs from someone down your street, then this might be a great place for you. I sure love it. So if you've got any questions about life in the South Cariboo.

I'm Amanda Oldfield with eXp Realty, and I'm here to help.
