April's Market Update

If you guys are wondering what's going on in the 100 Mile market right now, I've got some numbers for you.
So to start with, sales. In March of 2020, we sold 11 residential detached homes, but in March of 2019, we had sold 22, so our sales are down quite a bit. When we look at land sales, in 2020, we did 9, and in 2019, we had 15 sales. So those are also down a bit.
One of the good things that we're seeing for stability in our market, though, is the listings numbers. In March of 2020, at the end of the month, we have 198 residential listings, that's excluding land. But in March of 2019, we had 184. So you can see, there's not a huge different there.
We think that some of the lower inventory is going to help keep our prices fairly stable, through the hard economic times to come. We also hope for some pent up demand that will help move some inventory and keep pricing stable as the restrictions begin to ease.  But of course, nobody knows. It's sort of uncharted territory.
So, I'm going to commit to you guys to bringing you the numbers as they come out, no fluff. But it should help give us a bit of an indication of what's to come in the market.
As always, I am here to help.
If you would like more info on how showings are being done to protect the home owners as well as the buyers reach out to me and I can walk you through the process.
