Clients, friends, and people at parties are always asking what is going on in the Real Estate Market. Here is a little bit of information for you.
The 2019 numbers are out and in 100 Mile House, we saw high sales, low inventory, low days on market and even the sales prices were climbing. There is no reason to think that that is not going to continue.
For me, in 2019, many of my buyers came out of the Valley. That's Chilliwack, Abbotsford and those sorts of areas, and those real estate boards posted some pretty good numbers for 2019. Which is good news for everyone here in 100 Mile house trying to sell recreation properties. Many of those buyers are going to be coming this way.
Currently, our inventory is still pretty low. It is January, so some of that's to be expected. But even over a 10 year average, it's still low, even considering it is January. So if this was the year you were thinking of selling, it's probably a good year to do that. And since it's January, it's sorta time to get on it. May is one of our busiest months for sales, so it's not too early to start prepping now with the aim of having your place on the market around the end of March or into mid-April. If you'd like ideas on what should be done before you list and what can be skipped, give me a call!
